Rallies, Scouting & Attacking
How rallies work, who should lead them, why you always scout first, and how alliances run timed attacks.
Rallies
A rally lets several players hit one target together.
- Pick a timer (5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes) and allies join. It launches when the timer ends or the leader launches early. Squads that haven't arrived miss it.
- Capacity depends on the leader's War Hall level and march-size bonuses. The leader's troops fill first.
- Every squad fights with the rally leader's stats: hero skills, combat research, gear, drone and morale.
Choosing the leader
Have 2–3 designated rally leaders with the best combat research, then gear, then hero stars. A half-full rally often fails, so make sure enough people join before launching.
Scouting
Always scout first. A scout report shows the target's troop types, heroes and resources. Sending the wrong troop type into a counter is the most common avoidable loss.
- Power numbers lie. A big base may be a farmer, and a small one may be a hardened fighter. Check their kill count.
- Scouting a player breaks your shield and gives you War Fever (see Shields & Hospitals).
Attacking well
- A normal march gives the target some warning, often enough to teleport away.
- Teleporting next to the target and attacking at once leaves them little time to react. All your troops must be home first.
- For daily attack tasks, hit players without an alliance to avoid revenge.
Timed ("tsunami") attacks
How alliances crack strong bases and buildings:
- Everyone lands their 1st squads at the same moment, then the 2nd, 3rd and 4th squads right behind.
- Each march can beat a limited number of defending squads, so waves are needed against big garrisons.
- Attackers must clear the garrison before the building takes damage.
Reinforcing allies
- Reinforcing (garrisoning) a teammate doesn't break your shield or give War Fever.
- Your heroes add their stats to the defense, and your troops share the losses.
- Keep a few strong squads back to re-garrison after the first wave hits.
Teleporters
| Type | Where you land |
|---|---|
| Advanced | Exactly where you choose |
| Alliance | Near the alliance gathering point |
| Random | Somewhere random (great for escaping) |
The Alliance Store and VIP Store sell Advanced Teleporters cheaper than the Diamond Store.
