Diamonds, Gold Bricks & VIP: Spending Wisely
Where your diamonds and Gold Bricks give the most value, which offers to skip, and how VIP levels work.
Last War has two premium currencies, and mixing them up is an easy way to waste value.
- Diamonds are earned for free all the time from tasks, events and the Arena. Spend them carefully, but you'll always get more.
- Gold Bricks come mainly from real-money purchases. Treat every brick as precious.
Best uses for diamonds
- VIP time. 30 days costs about 10,000 diamonds (roughly 330 a day). It's the best value; shorter options are 7 days for about 3,000 and 24 hours for about 1,000.
- VIP Store stamina (discounted, limited weekly).
- Shields for risky days. About 5,000 for 24 hours and 12,000 for 3 days. Saturday, Enemy Buster day in Alliance Duel, is the classic time.
- Drone Parts and Dielectric Ceramic when the VIP store has them.
Avoid
- Random recruitment in the Diamond Store.
- Repeated stamina refills: the price climbs every time.
- Buying basic resources.
- Spending on speed-ups early.
Best uses for Gold Bricks
Community favorites, roughly in order:

Hero battle passes and Exclusive Weapon passes are usually skipped by careful spenders. Their rewards often show up later in the Black Market after the season ends.
VIP levels
You earn VIP points from the daily VIP chest (about 200 a day) and by converting diamonds 1:1. Some thresholds:

VIP bonuses only work while VIP time is active, and only on actions started while it's active. Switch it on just before big upgrades. Free players usually aim for VIP 3–8, and steady spenders for 11+.
