Your First 30 Days: A Beginner Plan
What to focus on in your first month: HQ, one main squad, a good alliance, and saving the right items for events.
The first month decides how fast your account grows. You don't need to spend to do well. You need to stay focused.
The golden rules
- HQ comes first. Only upgrade what the next HQ level needs. Everything else can wait.
- Never let a builder or the Tech Center sit idle. Start long jobs before you log off.
- Pick one troop type (Tank, Aircraft or Missile) and build one squad of five before starting a second. Tank is the usual first choice because strong Tank heroes arrive early.
- Join an active alliance as soon as you can (more below).
- Save speed-ups and big items for events. The same speed-up is worth far more on the right Alliance Duel day.
Week by week
| Days | Focus |
|---|---|
| 1–7 | Rush HQ, finish starter missions, join an alliance, get your first heroes leveled |
| 8–14 | Keep troop tiers current, unlock and start the Drone, begin saving speed-ups |
| 15–21 | Hold Universal Legendary Shards, recruitment tickets and Drone parts until you know what events are coming |
| 22–30 | Plan your week around the Alliance Duel (VS) days |
A daily routine
- Log in and collect free stamina, the VIP chest and alliance gifts.
- Do daily tasks and your Radar missions.
- Help alliance members (it's free and shortens their timers).
- Check what today's events reward, then spend resources and speed-ups.
Picking an alliance
Don't just accept the first invite. Look for:
- An active chat and members online at your times.
- A decent rank and member count (close to 100 is good).
- A high gift level (more and better daily gifts).
- Members taking part in events like Alliance Duel and Desert Storm.
If your alliance goes quiet, move on. Change your commander name first: some strong alliances ignore applicants still using a random number name.
Mistakes almost everyone makes
- Upgrading every building evenly instead of just HQ requirements.
- Spreading hero shards and rare items over too many heroes.
- Opening every resource chest right away. Some chests scale with HQ level, so open fixed-value ones first and save the scaling ones.
- Using speed-ups the moment you get them.
- Keeping resources in the base above what your warehouse protects, where attackers can take them.
- Picking fights before your hospital can hold your wounded (see Shields & Hospitals).
