Season 2 Overview: Polar Storm
The frozen season: keep your base warm, build furnaces and Titanium Alloy factories, and win Rare Soil in the Rare Soil War.
Polar Storm freezes the map. The closer you get to the center, the colder it gets (about −80°C at the Capitol). Alliances relight furnaces, push inward, and compete for a new ranking resource, Rare Soil.

Each week also brings a Cold Wave Alert with a lower minimum temperature, from −20°C in week 1 down to −130°C in week 7.
Seasonal buildings
- High-heat Furnace (levels 1–30, costs Titanium Alloy): your heat and the main source of Virus Resistance. Level 20 is needed for faction rewards. Level 30 unlocks the Military Bases and the Legendary Hero Badge for Violet.
- Titanium Alloy Factories (burn Coal): each level adds 720 alloy per hour. The next factory unlocks at level 15. Always upgrade the lowest one.
- Alliance Furnace: built by R4/R5, it warms nearby bases. Its level depends on the alliance's Rare Soil.
- Military Bases: boost damage for one troop type.
Heroes
- Exclusive Weapons: Murphy (week 1), Carlie (week 3), Swift (week 6).
- Violet SSR → UR from week 3, using the badge from Furnace level 30.
- Violet and Murphy each give the squad damage reduction, which stacks.
The off-season: Age of Oil
After Season 2 comes The Age of Oil: a permanent research tree, Oil Wells, a 3rd Tech Center, a Drone Parts Workshop, and the road to HQ 31–35. You'll need Tech Center 30 and a good chunk of Special Forces research.
