Warzone Duel: Server vs Server War Week
How Warzone Duel works: earning server points all week, the Saturday Capitol War, personal points, rewards and the mistakes to avoid.
Warzone Duel (WD) is a weekly server-vs-server war. All week, your warzone earns points from regular events. Then on Saturday the higher-scoring server invades the other and fights for its Capitol.
How it works
- Two warzones are paired each week. A competition runs 2 to 3 weeks across 4 to 8 warzones, knockout style: winners play winners, losers play losers.
- Points race: from the start of the week until the end of Friday (guides say it starts Monday or Sunday; check your tab).
- The server with more points becomes the invader; the other defends.
- Saturday: Capitol War. Invaders can teleport into the enemy warzone, then fight for its Capitol for up to 4 hours. Times vary by server; one recent guide lists noon to 4 p.m. server time.
Earning points during the week
Everyone in your warzone helps, not just the top alliances.
| Activity | Points for your warzone | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Wanted Boss: your server deals more total damage | 250,000 | The biggest single source |
| Wanted Boss: 1st place individual | 50,000–150,000 | Guides disagree on the amount |
| Desert Storm win | 50,000 per winning alliance | Every alliance that wins counts |
| Alliance Duel win | 30,000 per winning alliance per day | |
| Apex Arena #1 | 100,000 per week | |
| Arms Race 1st place | 10,000 | |
| Plundering an enemy-server truck | 100 each, up to 4 per day | Only the other server's trucks |
Saturday: the Capitol War
- Everyone on your server is on the same side at the Capitol and its cannons, whatever their alliance.
- Four Giant Cannons surround the Capitol. A cannon you hold damages the enemy garrison and speeds up your capture.
- Attackers win by reaching 100% capture once. Otherwise the defenders win.
Personal points on Saturday:
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Kills at the Capitol or a cannon | 12 (level 1 troops) up to 66 (level 10) per troop |
| Kills in the Contaminated Land | 6 up to 33 per troop |
| Other kills | 2 up to 11 per troop |
| Damaging an enemy base | 10 per point of durability |
| Knocking an enemy base away | 50,000 |
Rewards
- Personal chests unlock as you score, from about 125,000 points up to 1.5 million.
- Winning streak reward: your warzone must win and you must score more than 50,000 personal points. It includes UR decoration chests, UR universal shards and recruit tickets.
- Placement rewards for every server in the bracket, by final position.
What to do
Monday to Friday
- Join every Wanted Boss and hit hard.
- Win your Alliance Duel and Desert Storm. Each win adds to the server total.
- Plunder the enemy server's trucks (4 a day). Never your own.
Saturday, if you're attacking
- Teleport in early and take a cannon right at the start.
- Keep troops stationed on the cannon; a cannon you leave is a cannon you lose.
- Push hard in the first hour while everyone is online.
Saturday, if you're defending
- Keep a deep garrison in the Capitol and don't strip it to chase cannons.
- Shield up if you aren't fighting. Invaders score big for knocking bases away.
Common mistakes
- Leaving it to the leaders. Server points come from everyone's events.
- Taking a cannon, then walking away from it.
- Missing the 50,000 personal points you need for the streak reward.
- Plundering your own server's trucks. It scores nothing and starts feuds. See Warzone Etiquette.
- Pushing late on Saturday, when attackers have run out of time.
