Season 6: Hero Awakening & Braz UR
Awakening for Kimberly, DVA and Tesla, how to collect shards, the Awakening Swap, and whether to promote Braz to UR.
Season 6 introduces Hero Awakening, a new upgrade path that sits on top of Exclusive Weapons. Three heroes get it this season, one for each troop type.
What Awakening does
- Replaces the hero's Expertise skill with a new Awakening skill.
- Gives a big jump in power.
- Opens a separate Awakening star track.

Requirements and shard costs
One guide lists these requirements to awaken: the hero at 5 stars, Exclusive Weapon at level 20+, and 50 of that hero's Awakening Shards. The reported running totals for each Awakening star:

Getting shards
- Hero Awakening Trial: up to 10 named shards per hero.
- Global Expedition: each hero has a 14-day round that opens in their week (Kimberly from Week 1 day 4, DVA in Week 3, Tesla in Week 5). Push toward stage 400. Tesla's round is the last chance for Expedition shards.
- War Merit Shop: in some weeks.
- Universal Awakening Shards add stars to an already-awakened hero, but can't do the first unlock.
- The season also adds Exclusive Weapon shards for Kimberly, DVA and Tesla to normal tavern recruitment, so save regular Recruitment Tickets.
Awakening Swap (day 18)
From day 18 (Week 6) you can swap Awakening stars, skill levels, gear and named shards between two awakened heroes. If you over-invested in Kimberly early but your main squad is Aircraft or Missile, this lets you move that progress to DVA or Tesla.
Season heroes boost
Braz, Kimberly, DVA and Tesla get +10% damage to monsters this season, which helps with first kills and Purge Action.
Braz: SSR to UR
Braz can be promoted from SSR to UR, with the window opening around Week 3.
- Get SSR Braz to 5 stars by Week 2.
- Reported requirement: one UR Hero Badge, from the 500,000 total War Merit Season Goal.
- Cost: stars reset from 5 to 3, UR skills start at level 1, and rebuilding to 5 stars reportedly takes 1,600 SSR shards. His level stays, and Skill Medals are mailed back.
- UR Braz is built for PvP and faction fights, not monster farming.
Tactics Cards
Tactics Cards return, but the 4+1 hybrid card is gone. Each troop type now has its own universal card:
- Aftermath Burst (Missile): stronger damage-over-time.
- Dimensional Crit (Tank): more Crit Rate for your highest-Attack Tank hero.
- Frontal Suppression (Aircraft): faster Attack Speed for Aircraft heroes.
